Artist Peter Root took your everyday staples and turned them into an entire city in an installation.  Root spent about 40 hours building the miniature city.
   

Photographing Staple City

Step 1

  • Step up Staple City
  • Add  lights or keep it plain

Step 2

  • Set Camera to an Apeture F/5.6

Step 3

  • Photograph the city at EYE level
    • NOT from above

 

Step 4

  • Open in Photoshop
  • Crop out anything extra around the city

Step 5

  • Edit in Camera Raw
  • Add Logo
  • Save as jpeg
