Muted Color Ghost Photo Editing
Step 1
- Open your photo in ACR
- Ctrl-Shift-A

- We are only slightly going to lessen the color of the photo
- Under the Light section
- Move the Vibrance and Saturation slightly to the left
- It is up to you how much color you want remaining in your photos
- There is no right or wrong amount of color

Step 3
- Move the sliders to adjust your image to your liking
- Temperture/Tint
- Exposure
- Contrast
- Whites/Blacks
- Highlights/Shadows

- Save One of the Textures Below

Step 5a
- Go to File
- Place Embedded

Step 5b:
- Locate and Select the film grain file you saved
- Click Place

- If the texture is to big or to small for the ghost photo
- Click
- Ctrl T
- Move the texture so that it fits over the ghost photo
- Click Enter to lock it in
- Click

- Go to the Layers Pallet
- Click where it says Normal
- Change it to Screen
- You may also try the other overlays if you do not like Screen
- Change it to Screen
- Click where it says Normal

- If the texture is to strong
- Move the Opacity Slider to the left
- Each photo will be different in how much to change the Opacity
- Move the Opacity Slider to the left

- Flatten Image
