Logo Word/Letters

Wordmark Logos

are logos with just Words

 

Pick your Photography name:

  • pick a name you want to use for your Logo
  • Ex:  
    • Name
    • Initials
    • Made up name  
    • It does not have to have the word photography

Creating the Logo

Step 1: Creating the Text Box

  • File
    • New
      • Width   5 inches
      • Height   2.5 inches
        • Resolution   150
          • Background Contents:  Transparent
Step 2:
  • We will now be adding a text box to type in your logo name
    • Click on the T on the left side 

Step 3:

  • Click on the top left of the margin on the canvas
    • Hold and drag your mouse down and to the right until you have created a regtangle that fits in the margin you created
      • Release your mouse when you have drawn the text box

Step 4: 
  • Type in the name you picked for your logo
    • It does not matter what the size or color is right now

Step 5: 

  • At the top of photoshop
    • Click the middle lines option
      • This will center your text

 

Step 6: 

  • We will now be changing the text
  • Highlight the text to change the font 
    • Size
    • Style
    • Color

Step 7:
Tilting Your Text :  This step is OPTIONAL
  • Click on the T at the top of photoshop
    • When the Warp Text pops up
      • Click on style and change the style
      • Move the slides around
Step 8:
  • You will now need to Save your LOGO
    • File
      • Save As
        • Save to Pictures
          • Folder Logos
            • Name it  Logo Words

 

To keep your work always safe, move the files to your google drive!!!!!

  • Move it to your Google Drive Photo Class so that you always have it safe
