This project will be building on from the Fast Shutter Speed Basketball in Hoop Project

The Photo

    • Basket Ball Hoop with the ball going in hoop
    • Person kicking or hitting the ball
    • The ball MUST be in the sky in the photo

 

Step 1:

  • Download  Moon png file
    • If you do not have a moon png file you will need to cut one out

Step 2:

  • Using Move Tool
    • Move Moon onto basketball photo

Step 3:

  • You will change the size of the moon so it is about the size of the basketball
    • Click Control T
      • Make the moon smaller or bigger
        • Move the moon so it’s near the top of the basketball hoop

Step 4:

  • On the Layers Pallet
    • Lower the Opacity of the moon to somewhere between 25%-70%

Step 5:

  • Click the keys
    • Control  J
      • This will make a copy of the moon layer

Step 6:

  • Move the duplicated moon slightly away from the first moon
    • Click Control   T
      • Make the moon slightly smaller than the first moon

Step 7:

  • Click the keys
    • Control  J
      • This will make a copy of the second moon layer
        • Move the duplicated moon slightly away from the second moon
          • Click Control   T
            • Make the moon slightly smaller than the second moon

Step 8a:

  • Repeate the same steps from above until you have at LEAST 5 moons
    • You may do more if you’d like

Step 8b:

You may stop and flatten your image at the point but if you would like to turn the basketball into a moon you will need to follow the next two steps.

Step 9:

  • Click on the Layer with the First Moon
    • Move it ontop of the basketball
      • Make it bigger or small so it is the same size as the basketball

     

Step 10:

  • Increase the Opacity of the layer to your liking
